Erich Katzke is a global Human Capital and Workforce Transformation executive with more than three decades of experience designing talent, learning, and workforce systems across mining, heavy industry, and national development programmes. His work focuses on building sustainable talent pipelines, modern training architectures, and organisational capability in complex international environments.

He has held senior leadership roles with organisations including Saline Water Conversion Corporation in Saudi Arabia and global companies such as ArcelorMittal, Glencore, Anglo American Platinum, and Impala Platinum Holdings Limited. Across these roles, he has led large-scale workforce transformation initiatives, commercialised technical training academies, and aligned human capital strategies with national and corporate growth agendas, including Saudi Vision 2030.

Erich specialises in the design of technical training centres, employability frameworks, and succession planning systems for complex, multicultural environments. His approach blends executive advisory with practical implementation—bridging board-level strategy with operational delivery to build lasting workforce capability.

His career spans work in emerging and resource-constrained regions, where he has established training institutions, built talent ecosystems, and helped organisations convert workforce challenges into long-term competitive advantage.

He is currently completing a Master of Science in Human Capital Development and Management at University of Leicester.
